Oracle Retail to assist retail chain Ribeiro for better customer experience

Ribeiro, a retailer in Argentina, has selected Oracle Retail Merchandising, Planning & Optimization and Supply Chain solutions to attract and serve their customers.

Ribeiro, which has over 82 retail stores, the call center and online presence, will deploy Oracle Retail Allocation, Oracle Retail Replenishment Optimization, Oracle Retail Regular Price Optimization and Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management in phases.

Ribeiro in 2012 partnered with Oracle to drive growth in the online channel. Ribeiro implemented Oracle Commerce in less than 5 months with great results.

“We were looking for a tool that would allow us to act faster instead of building design interfaces with legacy systems. We needed to improve pricing, replenishment and centralized management to accelerate our response to customer demands,” said Dan Attie, commercial director at Ribeiro.

Ribeiro will use Oracle Retail solutions to simplify the reorganization of internal processes, allowing for the definition of pricing goals, commercial action planning and logistics management organization.

Oracle PartnerNetwork Gold Level Partners SkillNet and Veltio will execute the implementation in phases to minimize the impact on the company’s operations and maximize the return on their investment with Oracle.
