Wyevale Garden expands use of Oracle Retail solutions

Oracle Retail technologyRetail chain Wyevale Garden Centres has expanded the use of Oracle Retail solutions as the brand transitions from MICROS solution Retail J to Oracle Retail Xstore Point-of-Service.

Wyevale has a chain of 149 garden centers throughout England and Wales and is the largest garden center group in the U.K.

Wyevale will be utilizing Oracle Retail solutions including the latest version of Oracle Retail Xstore Point-of-Service, Oracle MICROS Hardware and Oracle Retail Customer Engagement with Oracle Retail Consulting.

“Oracle Retail Xstore Point-of-Service will deliver an improved experience for both customers and colleagues. With the migration, we look forward to taking advantage of the benefits of the integration and modern functionality of the Stores Suite with the Oracle MICROS hardware,” said Andrew Parr, IT director of Wyevale Garden Centres.

“We have integrated design and user experiences that give consistent content delivery across multiple devices, from tablets to workstations to empower associates and consumers,” said Ray Carlin, general manager at Oracle Retail.
