NETGEAR, a provider of networking equipment for homes and small-to-medium businesses (SMBs), has launched its first wireless access point.
NETGEAR targets small business such as cafes, doctor offices and other service industry locations, requiring Wi-Fi for business applications and public WiFi.
Instead of requiring a separate wireless controller at an additional cost, users can manage WAC510 by the new NETGEAR Insight app.
The WAC510 Access Point features the latest Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO) technology to achieve aggregate WiFi speeds up to 1.2Gbps and offers two Ethernet ports, including a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) 1GbE port.
