NETGEAR appointed Marthesh Nagendra as Country Manager for India and SAARC region.

Marthesh will spearhead new growth initiatives, focus on streamlining channel structure and partner base, enhancing quality of customer service and expanding retail presence including branded offline and online stores.

“India is a promising market for NETGEAR and we will continue to invest heavily in the region to drive stronger business growth”, said Simon Tsang , Vice President APAC, NETGEAR.

In 2017, NETGEAR will move purely into solution based selling across its range of networking products.  For instance, the company plans to deploy robust Wi-Fi systems in high-end homes with ORBI, tap ever growing home automation market using ARLO, NIGHTHAWK & ORBI and offer high-bandwidth streaming,  Private Cloud and 10G switches to suit requirements of bandwidth intensive audio-video, ISP and Surveillance applications.

Besides,  the company is rolling out a partner program to recruit, train, certify and support a wider base of solution partners in India & SAARC.  .

On the retail front, the company intends to open around 50 partner managed NETGEAR retail outlets across India which showcases entire range of NETGEAR products to improve visibility, customer touch and prompt support for its extensive range of Wireless, Storage, Security and home automation products.

To deliver enhanced customer connect, NETGEAR has earmarked plans for larger presence at key trade shows and rolling out engaging web, mobile, social and other brand building campaigns.
