Infosys revenue grows 12%, adds 8,762 software employees in Dec quarter

Infosys has reported revenue of Rs 25,927 crore (+12.3 percent) and operating profit of Rs 6,589 crore (+30.1 percent) for the third quarter ended December 31, 2020.
Infosys for technology outsourcingInfosys said it delivered its highest Q3 sequential growth of 5.3 percent in 8 years in constant currency. Infosys said digital revenues grew by 31.3 percent and overall digital revenue crossed more than half of total revenues.

Large deal TCV was at all time high of $7.13 billionn with 73 percent being net new. Revenue and margin guidance band increased to 4.5 percent-5.0 percent and 24.0 percent-24.5 percent respectively on the back of continued strong performance.

“The scale of new client partnerships with leading global companies such as Vanguard, Daimler and Rolls-Royce demonstrate the depth of digital and cloud capabilities of Infosys,” said Salil Parekh, CEO and MD of Infosys.

The total number of employees increased to 249,312 in December 2020 as compared with 240,208 in September 2020.

Infosys said the number of software professionals to 234,829 in December 2020 as compared with 226,067 in September 2020.
