VC funding: Memebox, 7shifts, Albo, Mylo, Kustomer

Technology companies such as StreamElements, Memebox, 7shifts, DISCO, Albo, Mylo, Kustomer, Swarm Technologies, Humio, Blue Prism, Switchfly, RealBlocks, Teach on Mars, Finxact, district m, among others, have announced their VC funding.
VC funding investments

StreamElements

StreamElements, a video production platform for live-streaming, used by more than 200,000 live channels on Twitch and YouTube Live, has raised $11.3 million in Series A funding led by Pitango VC and previous investors State of Mind Ventures, Rainfall VC, Samsung Next and others.

Memebox
Memebox has closed a $35 million Series D funding round led by JJDC. Other investors in the company include Formation Group and Goodwater Capital. Memebox has raised $190 million in funding to date.

7shifts

7shifts, a labor management platform for the restaurant industry, closed a $10 million Series A funding round led by Napier Park Financial Partners with participation from Teamworthy Ventures, existing investor, Relay Ventures and former CEO of Snag (Snagajob), Peter Harrison.

DISCO

Legal technology company DISCO announced $83 million investment led by Georgian Partners with participation from existing investors such as Bessemer Venture Partners, LiveOak Venture Partners, The Stephens Group, and Comerica. DISCO has raised $135 million till today.

Albo

Albo, a Mexican financial technology company, has raised $7.4 million in a Series A round of investment led by Mountain Nazca, and joined by the impact investment firm Omidyar Network, and Greyhound Capital.

Mylo

Mylo, the digital broker that is transforming insurance shopping, has raised $28 million in a Series A funding round led by Guggenheim Partners.

Kustomer

Kustomer, a customer management platform, announced a $35 million Series C round led by Battery Ventures. Kustomer has raised $73.5 million till now.

Swarm Technologies

Swarm Technologies, a developer of communications network, has closed its Series A financing round of $25 million — led by Craft Ventures and Sky Dayton, founder of EarthLink and Boingo, with participation from Social Capital, 4DX Ventures and NJF Capital.

Humio

Humio has raised $9 million led by Accel.

Obo

Obo, a product decision system, has raised $8.2 million in funding led by Wildcat Venture Partners and TDF Ventures.

Blue Prism

Blue Prism raised $130 million in fresh funding by placing of shares with new and existing investors including directors and management.

Switchfly

Ecommerce platform Switchfly has secured growth funding from Golub Capital and L Capital.

Teach on Mars

Teach on Mars, a learning technology provider, raised €7 million in its third round of funding — led by Omnes and Region Sud Investissement with the participation of existing investors.

Finxact

Finxact, the leader in SaaS core banking, has raised $30 million in equity financing from new and existing investors. New investors include the American Bankers Association (ABA), Accenture Ventures, SunTrust Bank, and other strategic industry leaders. Finxact’s existing investors, including Live Oak Ventures, First Data, Woodforest National Bank, and T.N. Incorporation Ltd (TNI) of Thailand also invested in this round.

district m

district m, Montreal-based advertising technology company, has raised $12 million investment including $9 million from Investissement Quebec (IQ) and $3 million from the Fonds de solidarite FTQ, a financial partner since 2016. district m raised $20 million over the last two and a half years.

RealBlocks

RealBlocks, a real estate technology platform powered by blockchain, has closed $3.1 million seed round led by Science Inc. with participation from Morgan Creek Digital, Zelkova Ventures, Ulu Ventures, and Cross Culture Ventures.
