Samsung Electronics added new marketing services and professional training system to its channel partner program—the Samsung Team of Empowered Partners (STEP).
At the annual Samsung Channel Partner Summit on Thursday in San Antonio, Texas, Samsung introduced Marketing Concierge Services and a new training and certification program called Samsung Business Academy.
With this move, Samsung said, it aims to help new and existing partners’ succeed in a digital age.
“The resources we are rolling out in 2016 for partners will increase their relevancy in the marketplace and expertise in target markets—ultimately increasing their bottom line,” Samsung Electronics America Marketing Vice President Ed Abrams said.
In a press statement, Samsung said the expanded support is part of Samsung’s 2016 channel focus in four key areas: driving greater demand through partners, accelerating knowledge transfer, increasing partner profitability and simplifying platforms.
