IBS Software has completed 20 years in business in September 2017.

IBS has nearly 3,000 people from 20 nationalities, operating from 10 global locations and powering mission critical operations of airlines, busiest airports, leading cruise lines, major travel distributors & hotels, and top oil & gas companies.

“The next five years will be a defining period for IBS. Investments in R&D and strategic acquisitions will continue. We will consolidate our position as a strategic IT supplier to the TTL industry by providing innovative, differentiated platforms that will help our clients compete and lead in a digital world,” said VK Mathews, founder and executive chairman of IBS.

IBS said its 200 plus active customers include 10 of the 20 largest airlines, 4 of the 5 oil majors, over 80 of the biggest hotel chains and 30 top travel suppliers.

IBS has acquired six overseas companies over the past 20 years.

IBM offers IT systems across business domains – airline passenger services, cargo operations, flight and crew operations, airport operations and aircraft maintenance engineering to air transportation industry.

PE major Blackstone invested $170 million in IBS for a minority shareholding in December 2015.
