SC14: Infinera delivers 1 Tb/s transmission capacity for SCinet network

Infinera will deliver one terabit per second (1 Tb/s) of transmission capacity to support the SCinet network at the International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis (SC14) in New Orleans.

One terabit of capacity will connect the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center to CenturyLink’s fiber optic network, utilizing the Infinera DTN-X platform.

The terabit deployment will demonstrate the provisioning of 100 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) services from the conference to CenturyLink’s network.
