Accenture buys Wire Stone to add digital marketing capabilities

Accenture-Acquires-Marketing-Agency-Wire-StoneTechnology outsourcing company Accenture has acquired Wire Stone, a US-based creative marketing agency with digital marketing capabilities.

Wire Stone has nearly 200 employees in the US, which will add scale to Accenture Interactive’s talent in North America. Microsoft, HP Enterprise (HPE) and HP Inc., PayPal and eBay are some of the clients of Wire Stone.

Wire Stone is the fourteenth acquisition Accenture Interactive has made in the last five years to expand the reach globally.

Accenture Interactive acquired Clearhead (US), a digital optimization company, in July.

Accenture acquired e-commerce solution provider Media Hive (US) in May to strengthen its capabilities around Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementation.

Recently, Accenture purchased creative agencies The Monkeys/Maud (Australia) and Karmarama (UK), communications agency Kunstmaan (Belgium), and digital agency SinnerSchrader (Germany).

The acquisition of Wire Stone will strengthen the ability of Accenture Interactive to deliver data-driven creative and design end-to-end digital customer experiences for brands.

The acquisition of Wire Stone will enable Accenture Interactive to scale its capabilities and talent in marketing and creativity, and strengthen its ability to provide leading edge design, strategy and personalized marketing experiences for clients. It also adds expertise in data-driven customer insight to its digital marketing capabilities and complements its core capabilities in design, marketing, content and commerce.
