We Founder Circle Emerges as India’s Largest Angel Investor Network

We Founder Circle (WFC) has become the leading angel investor network in India. The VC funding firm announced its participation in 103 deals encompassing 82 startups throughout 2023, marking a significant milestone in its trajectory.

We Founder Circle has contributed to 207 VC funding deals spanning across 162 startups in India during its three years of operation, emphasizing its rapid ascent within the investment sphere.

A key highlight of We Founder Circle’s accomplishments this year includes enabling over 15 startups to secure subsequent rounds of funding. Moreover, We Founder Circle facilitated partial exits in three startups for its investors, with discussions underway for five more partial exits involving corporate VCs and acquisition offers — a testament to WFC’s growing prominence and influence.

With a reach that transcends geographical boundaries, WFC proudly boasts the active participation of over 1,000 investors hailing from more than 400 cities across 40 countries. This expansive network has facilitated investments exceeding $30 million in the last three years, underscoring WFC’s commitment to fostering a robust startup and investor ecosystem.

Neeraj Tyagi also highlighted the establishment of two angel funds, signaling the firm’s unwavering commitment to supporting entrepreneurial ventures.

We Founder Circle is to amplify investments by targeting over 200 startups to invigorate their growth trajectory through multiple funds.

We Founder Circle’s support spans a diverse array of industries, encompassing deep-tech, Web3, fintech, healthtech, agritech, EV, D2C, among others, reflecting its versatile approach towards nurturing innovative ventures.

Gaurav VK Singhvi, Co-founder of We Founder Circle, emphasized the firm’s pioneering strides with the launch of Avinya Ventures, heralding a distinctive stage funding investment ecosystem tailored for early-stage investments.

Meanwhile, the Global accelerator programme EvolveX by WFC has demonstrated active engagement by investing in over 25 startups this year. Notably, several seed-stage startups have exhibited robust growth trajectories, securing subsequent rounds of funding at escalated multiples, attesting to WFC’s role in fostering entrepreneurial success.
