TandemAI Closes US $22 mn

TandemAI, secured a US $22 million Series A extension to accelerate its AI‑driven drug discovery engine integrating advanced AI, physics-based computation, and wet-lab capabilities. Since October 2021, the company has raised over US $80 million. The strategy focuses on merging computational chemistry and biology to deliver differentiated small-molecule, peptide, and antibody-peptide conjugate candidates. Technology innovation lies in its fully integrated discovery platform and 150+ global partners, including four of the top ten pharma companies. Customers gain faster candidate generation and cost-efficient pipelines. Investors include new and existing backers.

Cursor Secures US $2.3 bn

Cursor, founded by four MIT alumni and led by CEO Michael Truell, raised US $2.3 billion in a Series D round at a US $29.3 billion valuation. The funding supports its mission to redefine software creation through an AI coding platform enabling developers to autocomplete, edit, and review code across multiple models. Technology strategy emphasizes “agent-first” AI, custom in-house models, and enterprise developer workflows. Customers include major engineering organizations and developers. Bindwell Raises US $6 mn

Bindwell, an ag-tech startup founded by young founders (names not provided), raised US $6 million in a seed round co-led by General Catalyst and A Capital, with participation from SV Angel and Paul Graham. The strategy leverages AI screening that is four times faster than DeepMind’s AlphaFold to explore billions of molecules, addressing crop protection inefficiencies. Technology focuses on integrating molecular modeling, biochemistry, and AI to create safer, high-efficacy crop inputs. Customers—farmers and agro-enterprises—benefit from faster, targeted treatments. Innovation delivers scalable discovery pipelines; funding enables team expansion and platform maturation.

sunday Raises US $21 mn

sunday, co‑founded by Victor Lugger, raised US $21 million in a Series B round led by DST Global Partners to scale its hospitality-focused payment platform, now used by over 80 million diners. The strategy connects ordering, payment, loyalty, and CRM into one seamless experience for restaurants. Technology uses QR-code mobile payments, guest-feedback automation, and data-rich analytics. Innovation delivers 11–13× more guest feedback than traditional platforms. Benefits for restaurants include average check increase (+21 percent), tip rate up (+11 percent), and 12 minutes saved per table. Investors include DST Global.
