Mercury Raises $300 mn
Mercury, a fintech company offering banking, credit cards, and financial workflow software, has raised $300 million in a Series C round at a $3.5 billion valuation. Led by Sequoia Capital, the round includes Spark Capital, Marathon, Coatue, CRV, and Andreessen Horowitz. The VC funding will enhance Mercury’s financial technology and market expansion.
SplxAI Closes $7 mn
SplxAI, specializing in offensive security for Agentic AI, has secured $7 million in seed funding led by LAUNCHub Ventures, with Rain Capital, Inovo, Runtime Ventures, DNV Ventures, and South Central Ventures participating. The investment will accelerate SplxAI Platform’s automated security testing and monitoring.
Island Secures $250 mn
Island has raised $250 million in a Series E round, valuing it at $4.8 billion. Led by Coatue Management, with existing investors participating, Island has secured $730 million since its 2020 founding. The funds will scale product development and talent acquisition.
GetReal Security Raises $17.5 mn
GetReal Security, tackling AI threats like deepfakes, raised $17.5 million in Series A funding led by Forgepoint Capital, with Ballistic Ventures, Evolution Equity, K2 Access Fund, In-Q-Tel, Cisco Investments, and Capital One Ventures. The funds will drive R&D, product expansion, and market growth.
Brisk Teaching Raises $15 mn
Brisk Teaching, an AI-driven platform for K-12 schools, secured $15 million in Series A funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with Owl Ventures, South Park Commons, and Springbank Collective. With one million educators in 100 countries, the VC funding will expand its reach and AI solutions to address teacher burnout and student support.
