Infravision Raises US$ 91 mn

Infravision, founded by Cameron Van Der Berg (co-CEO) and Chris Cox, has secured US$ 91 million in a Series B round led by GIC, with participation from Activate Capital, Hitachi Ventures and Energy Impact Partners. The Austin-based robotics company develops the TX System — drones, ground robotics and stringing hardware — to expedite power-line construction with fewer delays, lower costs and improved safety versus traditional methods. The funding will accelerate global deployment, especially in North America, and support hiring of engineering talent to meet surging electrification and grid-build demands.

Cephia Secures US$ 4 mn

Cephia, founded by Bo Dong (CEO), Ethan Tseng (CTO) and Felix Heide, has closed a US$ 4 million seed round led by Radiant Opto‑Electronics Corporation and co-led by Incharge Capital, with backing from MetaVC Partners, NRM Partners and SOSV. The startup builds sensors using silicon metamaterials and AI-co-designed optics to enable vision capabilities beyond the human eye — targeting applications in automotive, manufacturing and precision agriculture. The funds will advance product development, hiring and commercialization of next-gen multimodal sensing hardware.

Hippocratic AI Raises $126 mn

Hippocratic AI raised $126 million in Series C funding, led by Avenir Growth with participation from CapitalG, General Catalyst, Andreessen Horowitz, Kleiner Perkins, and Premji Invest, reaching a $3.5 billion valuation. Founded by Munjal Shah, the company develops clinically safe generative-AI agents for healthcare, focused on patient-facing, non-diagnostic tasks. With 1,000+ clinical use cases and over 115 million patient interactions across 50+ health systems, Hippocratic AI aims to address clinician shortages and enhance global care delivery. The funds will accelerate innovation, expansion, and strategic acquisitions.
