VC funding: Zendrive, Molecula, Drop, SpotHero

Zendrive, Molecula, Zenoti Software, Drop, SpotHero, Media Partners, among others, announced their latest VC funding from venture capital companies.

Zendrive, a company that uses data and analytics to make roads safer, has raised $37 million in Series B funding — led by XL Innovate with participation by Hearst Ventures and existing investors, including ACME Capital, BMW iVentures, NYCA, SignalFire, and others.

Molecula

Molecula, an enterprise software company, has raised $6 million in a seed round from investors such as Seraph Group, Lontra Ventures, Velar Capital, Capital Factory, Andrew Buseyand Jason Dorsey.

Zenoti Software

Zenoti Software, a cloud-based platform for the spa, salon and med spa industry, has raised $20 million in funding from Steadview Capital. The company has previously raised $50 million — in Series C round — from Tiger Global, Accel, and Avataar investment firms.

Drop

Drop, a mobile rewards platform for shoppers, has raised $44 million in Series B investment led by HOF Capital with the participation of returning investors New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Sierra Ventures and White Star Capital. Royal Bank of Canada joined as a strategic investor.

Media Partners

Media Partners Corporation, a producer of people skills and compliance training programs, has raised $5.6 million in Series A-1 funding led by Byron Group.

SpotHero

SpotHero, the digital parking leader, has raised $50 million in Series D funding led by Macquarie Capital. Union Grove Venture Partners participated in the round, along with existing investors including Insight Venture Partners, Global Founders Capital, OCA Ventures, AutoTech Ventures and others. SpotHero’s raised $118 million to date.
