Virtium, GetYourGuide, Geospiza, JumpCrew, OpenFin, MultiVu, Xometry, Theranica, Locus, Understory, among others, announced their latest VC funding rounds from VC firms.
Virtium
Virtium, a provider of solid-state drive (SSD) and memory solutions for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) market, has raised an investment from Court Square Capital Partners. Virtium did not reveal the amount of funding.
GetYourGuide
GetYourGuide, a booking platform for travel experiences, has raised $484 million in Series E financing led by the SoftBank Vision Fund. The financing round was joined by co-investors Temasek, Lakestar, Korelya Capital and Heartcore Capital, with the participation of original investor Swisscanto Invest by Zurcher Kantonalbank.
Geospiza
Geospiza, a start-up that enables emergency managers, first responders, and program managers to make data-driven decisions to save lives, has raised $1 million in funding from Techstars, GAN Ventures, Next Wave Ventures, Chloe Capital, Alumni Ventures Group, Kokopelli Ventures, among others.
JumpCrew
JumpCrew, a demand generation platform, has raised $7.2 million in Series B funding round — co-led by Nashville Capital Network (NCN) and Hinsdale Capital. Earlier, JumpCrew raised $8.7 million.
OpenFin
OpenFin, the operating system (OS) of finance, has raised $17 million in Series C funding from major banks and leading FinTech investors — led by Wells Fargo with participation from Barclays and existing investors including Bain Capital Ventures, J.P. Morgan and Pivot Investment Partners. The Series C round brings OpenFin’s venture funding to $40 million.
MultiVu
MultiVu, which is developing 3D imaging solutions using a single sensor and deep learning derived algorithms, has raised $7 million seed round led by OurCrowd, Cardumen Capital and Hong Kong based investment firm Junson Capital.
Xometry
Xometry, an on-demand manufacturing marketplace, has raised $50 million in equity funding, led by Greenspring Associates. Dell Technologies Capital will also participate in the round, along with all previous venture and strategic investors including BMW i Ventures, Foundry Group, GE Ventures, Highland Capital Partners, Maryland Venture Fund and Almaz Capital. Xometry has raised $113 million to date.
Theranica
Theranica announced Omron Ventures has joined its $35 million series B funding round. Theranica’s series B funding round — announced two months ago — was led by aMoon, and included all previous investors of the company – Lightspeed Venture Partners, LionBird, Corundum Open Innovation and Takoa.
Locus
Locus, an AI-powered supply chain optimization company, has secured $22 million in Series B funding by Falcon Edge Capital and Tiger Global Management with the participation of Exfinity Venture Partners and Blume Ventures.
Understory
Understory, the weather network and analytics company, has closed a $5.25 million Series B funding round led by True Ventures with participation from 4490 Ventures and Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund. Understory in November 2018 raised $7.5 million in its growth round.
