QOMPLX, Tapcart, FlipGive, EverCommerce, MoneyLion, Heap, Fetch Robotics, vCita, EasyMovie, Thumbtack, WePower, Snapdeal, among others, announced their latest VC funding from venture capital firms and investors.
QOMPLX, an intelligent decision platform provider, has closed its Series A financing totalling $78.6 million, led by Cannae Holdings and Motive Partners.
Tapcart, a SaaS platform that allows Shopify brands to create mobile shopping apps, announced its $4 million seed round – led by Greycroft with the participation of prior investors, including Amplify.LA, Act One Ventures and Luma Launch.
EverCommerce, a service commerce platform, announced an agreement with Silver Lake to offer significant stake in the company. Silver Lake will partner with existing majority shareholder Providence Strategic Growth (PSG), the growth equity affiliate of Providence Equity Partners.
MoneyLion, a mobile bank, announced $160 million in funding — $60 million in previously unannounced financing and a $100 million Series C funding round.
Heap has raised $55 million in Series C financing led by NewView Capital with the participation of new investors DTCP, Maverick Ventures, Triangle Peak Partners, Alliance Bernstein Private Credit Investors, and Sharespost, as well as existing investors NEA, Menlo Ventures, Initialized Capital, and Pear VC. Heap has raised $95.2 million to date.
Zeta, a fin-tech company in the digital payments space, has secured a series C investment from Sodexo Benefits and Rewards Services (BRS) at a valuation of $300 million.
Fetch Robotics has raised $46 million in Series C round of funding led by Fort Ross Ventures, with participation from CEAS Investments, Redwood Technologies, TransLink Capital and Zebra Ventures. All existing investors – O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures, Shasta Ventures, Softbank Capital and Sway Ventures – also participated in this round. Fetch Robotics now has raised $94 million to date.
vCita, a business management solution for small businesses, has raised $15 million led by Forestay Capital.
EasyMovie, a video content creation platform, announced € 5 million funding round with Ring Capital.
TVS Motor (Singapore) has signed agreements to invest $7 million in Scienaptic Systems, a Delaware corporation, headquartered in New York City.
Thumbtack, the local services marketplace that connects consumers to professionals, raised $150 million in funding — led by existing investor Sequoia Capital, with participation from current investor Baillie Gifford.
Marubeni, a trading house in Japan, has agreed to issue an unspecified loan to Lithuania-based blockchain company WePower, convertible into shares. WePower is looking to establish itself in Australia to tap rapid growth in solar and wind power with its blockchain power purchasing platform, Reuters reported. WePower raised $40 million in one day in February 2018 in an initial coin offering.
Snapdeal said Piramal Group Executive Director Anand Piramal has made an undisclosed investment in the e-commerce company. SoftBank, Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba and Canadian pension fund Ontario Teachers Pension Plan (OTPP) are the existing investors of Snapdeal.
