SoFi, Uxin, CloudApp, Riffyn, Welkin Health, OpenSesame, among others, announced their latest VC funding from VC investors.

SoFi

Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) announced that it is leading an over $500 million equity financing in SoFi, a mobile-first personal finance company, alongside existing investors and SoFi CEO, Anthony Noto. The investment round values SoFi at $4.3 billion on a pre-money basis and further strengthens SoFi’s balance sheet to total capital of $2.3 billion.

Uxin

58.com, China’s largest online market place for classifieds, announced that it, together with Warburg Pincus, TPG and certain other investors, entered into definitive agreements with Uxin, a used car e-commerce platform in China, for making investments.

CloudApp

CloudApp, a video communication solution, announced a seed investment of $4.3 million led by Kickstart Seed Fund. The round will also include previous investor Cervin Ventures, Bloomberg Beta, Kyle York, VP Strategy at Oracle, and new entrants SAP.iO, Qualtrics CEO Ryan Smith, Traeger CEO Jeremy Andrus, the CEO (Karl Sun), COO (Dave Grow), and Head of Sales (Dan Cook) from Lucid Software, and the co-founders of Teem, (Dan Caffee and Shaun Ritchie), a WeWork company.

Riffyn

Riffyn, a provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for scientific process design and data analytics, announced $15 million Series B financing led by M Ventures with participation from Waters Corporation, O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures, and Plug and Play Ventures.

Welkin Health

Welkin Health, a patient relationship management software company, has raised $17.5 million in Series B funding led by Altos Ventures. Existing investors, Thrive Capital, Red Swan Ventures, and Asset Management Ventures also contributed to the round. Welkin Health raised total funding of $30 million to date.

OpenSesame

OpenSesame, the e-learning platform providing online catalog of curated employee training courses, has raised a $28 million growth equity round led by FTV Capital. This funding round includes participation from existing investors including Altos Ventures.
