ShieldIOT, Sentry, Cycode, Tulip, Fivetran, Tipalti, Fundbox, Acquia, Crypto Quantique, among others, announced their latest VC funding or PE funding from investment firms.

ShieldIOT, an Internet of Things (IoT) cybersecurity software company, has raised $3.6 million in a Series Seed funding round — led by innogy Innovation Hub with the participation of new and existing investors including Janvest Capital Partners, Danmar Capital, Minvest and private investors. Udi Solomon and Ohad Levin are the founders of ShieldIOT.

Sentry

Sentry, a market leader in software error monitoring, has raised $40 million in Series C funding, led by its first capital investor, Accel, with participation from existing investor New Enterprise Associates, Inc. (NEA).

Cycode

Cycode announced $4.6 million in seed funding. The round was led by YL Ventures with participation from security industry leaders including Mike Fey (CEO of D2iQ and former president & COO of Symantec), Andy Grolnick (former president & CEO, LogRhythm), Justin Somaini (former CSO, SAP) and Eyal Gruner (founder & CEO, Cynet). Cycode is founded and led by former Symantec security architect Lior Levy (CEO) and security researcher and serial entrepreneur Ronen Slavin (CTO).

Tulip

Tulip, a developer of app platform for the manufacturing industry, announced the completion of $39.5 million in Series B financing. Tulip customer DMG MORI, a manufacturer of machine tools, is joining Vertex Ventures, NEA, and Pitango, during the round.

Fivetran

Fivetran, a provider of automated data integration technology that helps analysts centralize data into cloud warehouses, announced $44 million in Series B financing. The round, led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), includes participation from existing investors Matrix Partners and CEAS Investments.

Tipalti

Tipalti, a payables automation solution, has raised an additional $76 million — led by Zeev Ventures with follow-on investment from Group 11 (f.k.a. SGVC) and participation from two new investors: 01 Advisors (a fund founded by Twitter’s former CEO & COO) and Greenspring Associates.

Fundbox

Fundbox, a B2B payments and credit network, has raised $176 million in growth equity funding for its Series C round. The company also announced that it has secured a $150 million credit facility.

Investment for the Series C round came from institutional investors, including Allianz X, Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP), HarbourVest, 9Yards Capital, Hamilton Lane, SEB Private Equity (on behalf of clients), Cathay Innovation, Synchrony, MUFG Innovation Partners, Recruit Strategic Partners, GMO Internet Group, and Arbor Ventures, as well as participation from the major existing Fundbox investors including Khosla Ventures, General Catalyst and Spark Capital Growth.

Crypto Quantique

Crypto Quantique, a IoT company with quantum driven cybersecurity, has raised $8 million in seed round led by ADV along with participation from Entrepreneur First, amongst others.

Acquia

Acquia, a digital experience company, will receive a majority investment from Vista Equity Partners. Several of Acquia’s existing investors will retain a stake in the Company.
