VC funding: Scala, Pyka, Gnosis Freight, Field Agent, Kestra, Hippocratic AI, Virtuous and Motion, have raised funds from VC companies.
Gnosis Freight receives growth investment
Gnosis Freight, a provider of supply chain visibility and execution software for shipping container, has received growth investment from Vista Equity Partners. The investment supports Gnosis’ aim to help logistics companies work together better across the entire ecosystem.
Scala Data Centers raises $500 mn
Scala Data Centers, a leading hyperscale sustainable data center platform in Latin America, has raised $500 million in structured financing. The investment includes $250 million from Coatue Tactical Solutions and $250 million from the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO).
Scala Data Centers will use the funds to expand its presence across Latin America. In addition, Scala will invest in technology innovation.
Pyka raises $40 mn
Pyka, an electric aviation technology leader, has raised $40 million in a Series B raise. The VC funding round was led by Obvious Ventures, with participation from both new and existing investors, including Piva Capital, Prelude Ventures, Metaplanet Holdings, and Y Combinator.
Field Agent receives growth investment
Field Agent, a retail technology platform, has received growth investment led by Five Elms Capital.
Shelfgram’s AI-powered Virtual Storewalk platform, coupled with Field Agent’s in-store image and data capture, delivers both historical and real-time retail execution data — including pricing, on-shelf product availability (OSA), and display compliance. The company plans to use the funding to accelerate its innovation and go-to-market capabilities.
Kestra raises $8 mn
Kestra, the orchestration platform, has raised $8 million in seed investment. Earlier, Kestra raised 3 million in its pre-seed round.
This VC funding round is led by Alven, alongside ISAI, Axeleo Capital, and numerous founders and CEOs from leading technology companies. Kestra will use the funding to support expansion, hiring, and growth.
Hippocratic AI receives investment
Hippocratic AI, a provider of safety-focused Large Language Model (LLM) for healthcare, has received an investment from NVentures, NVIDIA’s venture capital arm.
NVentures, along with Greycroft and Leo Shapiro of 7Wire Ventures, contributed additional $17 million to the Series A round. Hippocratic AI has raised $137 million to date.
The first close of the Series A round was co-led by Premji Invest and General Catalyst with participation from SV Angel and Memorial Hermann Health System as well as existing investors Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) Bio + Health, Cincinnati Children’s, WellSpan Health, and Universal Health Services (UHS) at a $500 million valuation.
Virtuous raises $100 mn
Virtuous, a provider of Responsive Fundraising Software, has received growth investment led by Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE).
Virtuous will use the funding to accelerate the development of features including AI tooling, expand its integrations, third-party data insights, and platform upgrades based on the needs of its users.
Virtuous will also invest in expanding its customer success and services teams to provide more support and playbooks to its nonprofit users.
Motion raises $30 mn
Motion, the creative analytics and research platform used by creative strategists, has raised $30 million in Series B funding led by Inovia.
There was also participation from Threshold Ventures as well as existing investors Headline, Abstract Ventures, and Sugar Capital. Motion will invest in product roadmap and its analytics and creative research capabilities. Motion raised $42 million to date.
