Pharos, a full stack blockchain network, raised $8 million in a seed round co-led by Lightspeed Faction and Hack VC, with participation from SNZ Capital, Reforge, Dispersion Capital, Hash Global, Generative Ventures, Legend Star, MH Ventures, Zion, and Chorus One Ventures.
Pharos aims to advance its blockchain protocol with hyper-parallelism for enhanced scalability and performance. Northflank, a production workload platform, raised $22.3 million with Bain Capital Ventures leading a $16 million Series A and Vertex Ventures US a $6.3 million seed round. Additional investors include Kindred Ventures, Tapestry VC, Pebblebed, and Uncorrelated Ventures.
Northflank simplifies app and database deployment on any cloud, offering developers a streamlined alternative to complex, homegrown solutions. Bluespine Secures $7.2 mn
Bluespine, an AI-driven claims cost reduction platform for self-insured employers, has raised $7.2 million in a seed funding round led by Team8, with strategic partners also participating. Aimed at tackling the $300 billion fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) crisis, Bluespine’s innovative solution helps employers reduce healthcare expenses, which have risen by 14 percent over the past two years.
