Tech startups such as iAsk, Harmonic Security, Vizit, Billables AI, among others, have raised investment in VC funding rounds from venture capital firms.
Harmonic Security raises $17.5 mn
Harmonic Security, a data protection solutions provider, has raised $17.5 million in a Series A funding round.
The VC funding round is led by Next47, a venture capital firm that has invested in many cybersecurity startups, including Claroty and Sysdig. Ten Eleven Ventures, which led the $7 million seed round in October 2023, is also making further investment in Harmonic Security.
Harmonic Security has raised more than $26 million to date.
Harmonic Security has built a data protection solution using pre-trained, specialized language models.
Harmonic, which employs 30 people across the United States and the United Kingdom, will use the VC funding to enhance its engineering and go-to-market efforts.
iAsk raises $4.2 mn
iAsk, the AI “Answer Engine” built for individual customers, has raised $4.2 million in a seed funding led by Corazon Capital.
There was participation from Chingona Ventures, Starting Line VC, Alumni Ventures, Listen VC, Motivate VC, Octava Singapore, Chicago Early Growth Ventures, and multiple angel investors.
iAsk has processed over 350 million search queries since launching last year. iAsk soft-launched its API for businesses and developers, which has a waitlist of over 7,000 customers.
iAsk receives up to 1.5 million searches per day, with strong interest from Gen Z users seeking convenient, accurate answers to their questions.
Vizit raises $25 mn
Vizit, a Visual AI software provide for brands and retailers, has raised $25 million in a Series B round led by Industry Ventures.
Enterprises can use Vizit’s Visual AI to ensure their brands connect with their audiences using visual content.
Vizit will use the VC funding for expanding its platform and enter new markets. Vizit’s Visual AI accurately interprets, measures, and predicts consumer’s visual preferences.
Brands such as Mars, Heineken, Ghirardelli and many others are using Vizit. Their achievements from the use Vizit’s Visual AI include 30 percent increase in conversions, and a 10 percent growth in Amazon sales after optimizing their visuals with Vizit’s platform.
Billables AI raises $3.9 mn
Billables AI, an AI platform for professional service providers, has raised $3.9 million in a seed funding led by Wing VC.
There was participation from F7, SignalFire, Darkmode, Alumni Ventures and a group of AI leaders and industry veterans, including angel investors from Google, Stanford, SambaNova and more.
Billables AI will use the VC funding for investing in advanced ML to personalize time reports and build additional productivity tools.
