H2O.ai, Brainbase, Parentof, Starship Technologies, Agilence, among others, announced their latest VC funding from venture capital firms.
Parentof, a decision sciences start-up that provides insights into child growth and decision analytics, has raised $1 million in seed funding, bringing their total funding since inception to $2 million. The round was led by angel investor V Srinivas and other existing investors.
Brainbase, makers of intellectual property licensing platforms Brainbase Assist and Marketplace, has raised $3 million in a seed round led by Struck Capital with participation from Tectonic Capital, Bonfire Ventures, Sterling Road, and Watertower Ventures.
H2O.ai, an artificial intelligence and machine learning company, has secured $72.5 million in a Series D round led by Goldman Sachs and the Ping An Global Voyager Fund with participation from Wells Fargo, NVIDIA and Nexus Venture Partners. H2O.ai has raised $147 million to date.
Starship Technologies, an autonomous delivery service, has closed $40 million in Series A funding — led by Morpheus Ventures with participation from prior investors including Shasta Ventures, Matrix Partners, MetaPlanet Holdings and others, as well as new investors including TDK Ventures, Qu Ventures and others. Starship has now raised a total of $85 million.
Agilence, a provider of data analytics & reporting solutions to the retail and restaurant industries, announced a debt investment from Accel-KKR Credit Partners, a fund managed by investment firm Accel-KKR.
