VC funding: DeepRoute, Netrush, Gradient AI, Oneiro, Unqork

DeepRoute, TEG, Netrush, Gradient AI, OSARO, BiomeSense, Oneiro, Bird, Momentum, Unqork, Strigo, NS1, among others, announced their latest VC funding / PE funding from investment firms.

DeepRoute, a self-driving system provider, has raised about $50 million in funding led by Foshun RZ Capital, jointly by other investment organizations including GoldenSand Capital, Yunqi Partners, Ventech China and Green Pine Capital Partners.

TEG

Silver Lake will buy TEG, a live entertainment and ticketing company, from funds advised by Affinity Equity Partners. TEG CEO Geoff Jones will continue to lead the company.

Netrush

Insignia Capital Group announced investment in Netrush, an Amazon retailer with a diverse set of digital retail and supply chain capabilities. Brian Gonsalves and Chris Marantette are the founders of Netrush.

Gradient AI

Gradient AI, a supplier of artificial intelligence solutions in the insurance technology space, has raised $6 million in a Series A financing led by Forte Ventures and Sandbox Insurtech Ventures with participation from Gradient’s existing investor MassMutual Ventures.

OSARO

OSARO, a supplier of machine learning software for industrial automation, has raised $16 million in Series B funding, with participation from King River Capital (KRC), Alpha Intelligence Capital, Founders Fund, Pegasus Tech Ventures, GiTV Fund, and existing investors. OSARO raised $29.3 million to date. OSARO’s co-founder and CEO is Derik Pridmore.

BiomeSense

BiomeSense, a bioscience technology company, has closed its $2 million seed funding led by BioX Clan with the participation of Seerave Foundation and SOSV.

Oneiro

Oneiro, a supplier of blockchain solutions, has secured $5 million from COSIMO Ventures. COSIMO earlier invested $3 million in Oneiro in a seed round in February 2018. Oneiro has raised $8 million to date.

Bird

Bird, an electric scooter service providing dockless scooters that users can locate and unlock through a smartphone app, has raised $275 million in a funding round led by CDPQ and Sequoia Capital.

Momentum

Momentum, a technology training company, has secured Series A funding from the investment arm of Clarkston Consulting. Jessica Mitsch is the co-founder and CEO of Momentum.

AmacaThera

AmacaThera has closed $3.6 million in seed financing round — led by Sprout BioVentures / Viva Biotech with participation from Grey Sky Venture Partners and Toronto-based Lumira Ventures. Molly Shoichet is the co-founder and chief scientific officer of AmacaThera.

Unqork

Unqork, a no-code application platform for the enterprise, has secured $80 million in Series B financing led by CapitalG with the participation of BlackRock. Unqork has raised more than $110 million in funding to date.

Strigo

Strigo, a customer training management company, has raised $2.5 million in seed round led by Hanaco Ventures, with participation from Greycroft. Nevo Peretz is the CEO and co-founder of Strigo.

NS1

NS1, a supplier of DNS and application traffic management solutions, has raised $33 million in Series C venture round — led by Dell Technologies Capital, with participation from Cisco Investments and existing investors Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners, Entree Capital, Flybridge Capital Partners, GGV Capital, Mango Capital, Salesforce Ventures, Sigma Prime Ventures, Telstra Ventures, and Two Sigma Ventures. Kris Beevers is the co-founder and CEO of NS1.

Greytip Software

Greytip Software, a supplier of HR Automation and Payroll Product, has raised Rs 34.5 crore in a Series C funding from Info Edge with the participation from existing investor funds advised by MegaDelta Capital.
