CloudBees, Marqeta, Aperia Technologies, Torii, Natural Partners Fullscript, Tyffon, Interplay Learning, Folio Photonics, Biofourmis, Ivalua, among others, announced their latest VC funding rounds from VC investors.
CloudBees has raised $10 million capital investment from HSBC. CloudBees has raised $120 million including the $62 million growth capital round last year. HSBC uses CloudBees Core platform technologies to accelerate its software delivery system.
Marqeta, a modern card issuing platform, has completed a $260 million Series E funding, led by Coatue Management. This new funding values Marqeta at nearly $2 billion.
Aperia Technologies, a supplier of tire management technologies, announced a $36 million Series C1 investment led by new investors Blackhorn Ventures and Tenfore Holdings, with significant participation from existing investors.
Torii has secured $3.5 million in seed investments – led by Uncork Capital in Silicon Valley with additional investments from Global Founders Capital in Berlin and Entrée Capital in London.
Torii’s platform allows IT managers to discover, audit, vet and control the SaaS apps that employees use.
Natural Partners Fullscript
Natural Partners Fullscript, a nutraceutical prescribing platform for healthcare practitioners, announced a $25 million Series B financing led by Kayne Partners, the growth equity group of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, focused on software and tech-enabled business services companies.
People.ai, a provider of revenue intelligence system, announced $60 million Series C funding round led by ICONIQ Capital with participation by Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed Venture Partners, GGV Capital and Y Combinator.
Tyffon, an entertainment company that develops VR location-based experiences, has raised $7.8 million in new financing led by Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS), with several others participating. TBS and other new investors join existing investors that include SEGA SAMMY Holdings, The Walt Disney Company, Mizuho Capital, Tokyu Recreation, and Canal Ventures, among others. Tyffon has raised more than $12 million to date.
Interplay Learning, a provider of online training for skilled trades utilizing virtual reality (VR) and 3D simulations, has raised $5.5 million Series A round of financing led by S3 Ventures with participation from Shasta Ventures, Sierra Ventures, Holt Ventures, Wild Basin Investments, and Shelter Capital Partners.
Folio Photonics, developing a new standard in optical solutions for data storage, has closed an $8 million seed funding round led by Refinery Ventures with the participation of Pavey Investments and Capital One Partners.
Biofourmis, a digital therapeutics company, has closed $35 million in Series B financing – led by Sequoia India and co-led by MassMutual Ventures, the venture fund of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company. Singapore government-linked strategic investor EDBI and Chinese online healthcare platform Jianke also participated in the round, along with existing investors Openspace Ventures, Aviva Ventures and SGInnovate.
Ivalua, a provider of Spend Management cloud solutions, has raised $60 million in growth equity funding. Investors include Tiger Global Management, a new investor in Ivalua, and Ardian Growth, one of early investors.
InterGen Data (InterGen), an AI-driven technology provider of AI software solutions and machine learning algorithms for banking, wealth management, insurance and fintech companies, has closed $800k in seed funding from angel investor Stan Thomas.
