Aetion

Aetion, a health care technology company offering analytics, has received investment from Sanofi, UCB, McKesson Ventures, and Horizon Health Services. Amgen Ventures is an earlier investor. Existing venture capital investors, including NEA, Flare Capital, and Lakestar, also participated in this round.

Signal Sciences

Signal Sciences, a web application security company, has raised $35 million in Series C funding — led by Lead Edge Capital, with participation from existing investors CRV, Index Ventures, Harrison Metal and OATV.

Databricks

Databricks has secured $250 million in a Series E funding led by Andreessen Horowitz. Coatue Management, Microsoft, and New Enterprise Associates (NEA) also participated. This most recent round of funding brings Databricks’ total amount raised to $498.5 million and raises the company’s valuation to $2.75 billion.

Vinli

Vinli, a connected car and data intelligence platform provider, has closed $13.5 million in additional funding – from E.ON, The Westly Group, Hersh Family Investments, and Hal Brierley.

Komprise

Komprise, an intelligent data management company, has secured $24 million in Series C Investment — led by Top Tier Ventures, with  investment from new investor Western Digital Capital, along with participation from existing investors, Canaan Partners and Walden International. This new funding round brings the total financing since inception to $42 million.

Embleema

Embleema, blockchain solutions provider for health, has closed a $3.7 million Series A funding round, led by Pharmagest, a pharmacy software group in Europe, and Techstars.

Inventys

Inventys has closed an investment of $5 million from BDC’s Cleantech Practice, as well as an additional follow-on investment from existing shareholder Chevron Technology Ventures. This brings the Series C Financing funding, which was led by OGCI Climate Investments, to $16 million out of $21 million. Inventys is targeting a close of the final $5 million under the Series C round prior to June 30, 2019.

DNAnexus

DNAnexus, a biomedical informatics and data management provider, closed a $68 million financing from existing investors, GV (formerly Google Ventures), Foresite Capital, TPG Biotech, WuXi NextCODE, and Claremont Creek Ventures, as well as debt and equity financing from Innovatus Capital Partners.

RELEX Solutions

RELEX Solutions, a provider of unified retail planning solutions, announced that TCV has made a $200 million minority investment in the company.
