The UK recorded 877 Venture Capital deals in 9-months of 2024, a 15.1 percent drop compared to 1,033 deals in the same period in 2023.
Despite the volume decrease, the total disclosed VC funding rose by 9.4 percent to $12 billion, up from $10.9 billion.
High-value investments contributed to the funding boost, including:

$1 billion raised by Abound
$431 million raised by Monzo
$200 million raised by DNEG Group
The UK remains a top global VC market, ranking among the top five worldwide and holding 7.2 percent of the global deal volume and 6.5 percent of total funding value, according to GlobalData.
