Thoma Bravo, a leading software investment firm, is set to buy Magnet Forensics Inc., a developer of digital investigation solutions for more than 4,000 enterprises and public safety organizations, for CA$1.8 billion.
VC funding for techThoma Bravo intends to combine Magnet Forensics and Grayshift, which Thoma Bravo acquired in July 2022.

The companies’ offerings are expected to create an end-to-end digital investigations platform empowering more public safety agencies to seek justice, solve crimes, and protect victims.
