Theom raises $16.4 million in a seed VC funding round

Theom, a cloud data security solution provider, has raised $16.4 million in a seed VC funding round to expand business.
Ridge Ventures led the round along with M12, Microsoft’s Venture Fund. Theom claims that it is pioneering a new method of securing data in the cloud and SaaS data stores by ensuring that protection always follows the asset, adapting the security as environments change.
