Technology deals: Teradata, SAP, Oracle, Infor

Teradata, SAP, Oracle, Infor, MRI Software, ProcessPro, Allot Communications, Mi9 Retail, among others, have announced their technology deals.

Teradata

Teradata announced that Office Depot, a provider of business services and technology solutions, is using Teradata IntelliCloud to run more than 800,000 queries a day on an analytics platform in the cloud.

“We chose to pursue the use of a cloud-based data and analytics platform to drive scalability, enable speed of delivery and to deliver cost savings,” said Todd Hale, chief information officer at Office Depot.

MRI Software

MRI Software, a global provider of real estate software solutions, announced that Clarion Partners, a real estate investment firm, has selected MRI Investment Accounting as its fund accounting solution.

“MRI Investment Accounting will allow us to maintain records at each level from the underlying asset up to the client ledger within our accounting system, which will significantly streamline our internal operations,” said John Wanamaker, chief technology officer of Clarion Partners.

ProcessPro

ProcessPro, a mid-market ERP software solution company, announced that Dairyfood has selected ProcessPro Global ERP software to maximize efficiencies in their cheese manufacturing and co-packing operation.

ProcessPro’s ERP solution will assist with streamlining Dairyfood’ operations, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP) functionality to optimize inventory and planning and full forward and backward lot traceability.

Allot Communications

Allot Communications announced that Pelephone, an Israeli-based Tier-1 mobile service provider, is deploying Allot WebSafe Personal to protect subscribers against viruses and malware, as well as provide parental controls and other security value added services.

SAP

SAP announced the expansion of its partnership with Thomson Reuters to simplify converting cross-border transaction prices into a single currency.

The new SAP Cloud Platform–based application, called SAP Market Rates Management, Thomson Reuters data option, offers connectivity to pricing and reference data from the Thomson Reuters Financial and Risk business and is available to SAP customers.

Mi9 Retail

Mi9 Retail, a provider of retail solutions, announced that Total Tools has selected the Mi9 Retail Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning, and Replenishment solutions to support its business modernization strategy.

Oracle

Oracle announced that IDKIDS COMMUNITY has selected Oracle Retail Planning and Optimization Cloud Services to gain better understanding of their customers and their behaviors.

“After a competitive sales cycle and a detailed proof of concept, we chose Oracle Retail Planning and Optimization Cloud Services for their rich functionality and ability to scale with our business,” Rodolphe Even, chief information officer, IDKIDS COMMUNITY, said.

Infor

Infor, a provider of cloud applications, announced that the Dubai-headquartered Mattex Group has selected Infor CloudSuite Fashion, Infor CloudSuite HCMand the Birst business intelligence solution as part of the digital transformation process.

Harris Corporation

Harris Corporation has won three multi-award IDIQ contracts with ceilings totalling $1.5 billion to provide the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) with geospatial data services for up to 10 years.

Comtech Telecommunications

Comtech Xicom Technology has received a contract for more than $4.8 million from a U.S. military integrator for high-power satellite communication (SATCOM) traveling wave tube amplifiers (TWTAs).

Webair

Webair, a managed infrastructure service provider, has won an Information Technology Umbrella Manufacturer Based contract by the New York State Office of General Services (NYS OGS). This contract certifies that Webair is a state-approved IT vendor and simplifies services procurement for New York State authorized users by reducing the length of the bidding processes.
