IBM, Epicor, Itiviti, Oracle NetSuite, among others, announced their technology deals to assist their clients to improve business efficiency.
Epicor
Patcham, a manufacturer of specialty additives based in United Arab Emirates (UAE), has selected the enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution Epicor ERP to ensure business growth. Cork Information Technology, an Epicor partner in the Middle East, is assisting Patcham in the deployment of Epicor ERP at its two facilities in the UAE.
Itiviti
Itiviti, a provider of trading technology and financial infrastructure, announced its deal with Edelweiss Securities for deploying Itiviti’s client connectivity and high touch trading solution to support its algorithmic trading business.
IBM
Economical Insurance, a property and casualty insurance company in Canada, has adopted IBM Cloud to assist in streamlining its business processes and accelerating the delivery of new digital experiences for brokers and customers.
“A hybrid cloud environment is the best way to support our business with the speed and flexibility needed for our future success. The IBM Cloud helps us reduce development time, increase agility, and maintain security,” Kelley Irwin, chief information officer (CIO) of Economical Insurance, said.
Oracle NetSuite
SOCAR, a South Korean car sharing start-up, has implemented Oracle NetSuite to support its growth and expansion. SOCAR used NetSuite to launch its service in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and scale its business. SOCAR has seen over 24,000 usage hours recorded on its platform per month from Malaysia to date as it replaced a manual, Excel-driven process for reconciling and tracking financial transactions.
