Cybeats

Cybeats, a cybersecurity company targeting Internet of Things (IoT) devices business, has raised $3 million — led by Ripple Ventures, with investment from real estate technology venture capital fund GreenSoil Building Innovation Fund, and participation from MaRS IAF, MLA48, ScaleX and inovia capital.

Ada

Ada, an automated customer service, has raised C$19 million in Series A funding — led by FirstMark Capital with participation from Leaders Fund and Burst Capital, as well as returning investors Bessemer, Version One, and computer scientist, Barney Pell.

Egress

Egress, a provider of data privacy and compliance software to secure unstructured data, has raised $40 million in a Series C financing round led by FTV Capital, with continued participation from existing backer AlbionVC.

Moglix

Moglix, a B2B e-commerce company, has raised $23 million in Series C funding led by existing investors Accel Partners, Jungle Ventures and International Finance Corporation (IFC), members of the World Bank Group. Moglix has raised $41 million.

Vogo

Ride hailing app, Ola will invest $100 million in Vogo, a scooter sharing network for short haul commute. As per the arrangement, Ola will boost Vogo’s supply by investing in 1 lakh scooters on the Vogo platform, worth $100 million. Ola has also invested in Vogo as part of the company’s Series A fund raising which saw participation from Matrix Partners India and Stellaris Venture Partners.

Seismic

Seismic, a provider of sales and marketing enablement, has closed a $100 million Series E round of funding — led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and funds and accounts advised by T. Rowe Price Associates. Existing investors General Atlantic, JMI Equity, and Jackson Square Ventures also participated in the round. Seismic raised $179 million till now.
