Technology companies such as CognitionX, Deliv, Validere, WeRide.ai, Handshake, among others, have announced their funding rounds.
CognitionX
CognitionX announced investment from The CXO Fund, Unilever Ventures and other tech angels, taking the round total to $4.1 million.
Deliv
Deliv, an Uber-like start-up that uses a fleet of contract drivers to pick up online orders from stores and malls for a fee, has raised $40 million in a new round of funding from investors, including Alphabet Inc’s Google. Deliv’s existing investors, including United Parcel Service, General Catalyst Partners and The Macerich Company also participated in the round.
Validere
Validere, an IoT and artificial intelligence platform for the oil and gas industry, has raised $7 million in seed funding – led by Sallyport Investments, alongside Y Combinator, Real Ventures, Moment Ventures, and ZhenFund.
Handshake
Handshake, a career network for U.S. college students, has closed $40 million Series C funding round led by the EQT Ventures fund with participation from investors including the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Omidyar Network, and Reach Capital, among others.
WeRide.ai
Alliance Ventures, the venture capital arm of Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, has become the lead strategic investor of WeRide.ai (formerly JingChi.ai), an autonomous driving company focused on Level 4 (L4) self-driving technology in China.
