Wipro
Wipro has won a multi-year business process services deal from Falck, a global supplier of ambulance services headquartered in Denmark. Wipro will help transform Falck’s finance operations through its enterprise operations transformation model.
Indian retail chain Big Bazaar has worked with Google to create Smart Search in June 2017, enabling customers, who searches with a Prefix of Big Bazaar on Google, to receive special offers which can be redeemed across its network of 225 stores in India.
Ruckus Networks
Ruckus Networks is joining Facebook’s Express Wi-Fi Certified ecosystem, a program that allows access point manufacturers to build Wi-Fi hardware compatible with Express Wi-Fi. Operators participating in Facebook’s Express Wi-Fi initiative will deploy Ruckus virtual SmartZone controllers and indoor/outdoor Wi-Fi access points in high-traffic public areas in Africa, India, and Indonesia.
Ticketmaster
Ticketmaster has partnered with Bixby, Samsung’s intelligent assistant, enabling fans to buy tickets to their live events.
Wind River
Wind River, a provider of IoT software for safety-critical domains including automotive, has tied up with Hyundai Autron to develop a software framework for autonomous driving.
Alion
Alion Science and Technology has bagged a $28 billion contract to provide Research and Development (R&D) solutions and support for DoD Information Analysis Center Program Management Office (DoD IAC PMO), sponsored by the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC).
BAE Systems
BAE Systems has won a $146.3 million contract from the US Navy to modernize the guided-missile cruiser USS Gettysburg (CG 64).
Huawei
Huawei has deployed an Optical Transport Network (OTN) using Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) for Austrian Federal Railways (OBB).
Ravenswood Solutions
Ravenswood Solutions has won a $1.3 million tech deal in support of the US Army Joint Modernization Command (JMC) for communications support services during a Network Integration Evaluation (NIE).
IBM Watson
IBM Watson said it will partner with tennis players and coaches to enhance their game strategy and prepare for matches more efficiently during the US Open.
Equinix
Equinix has partnered with VMware to offer connectivity to VMware Cloud on AWS via AWS Direct Connect at Equinix International Business Exchange data centers. The new offer enables customers to access VMware Cloud on AWS through private connectivity that bypasses the public internet.
