Tech deals: TCS, Lockheed Martin, H2O.ai, Accenture, Software AG

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Lockheed Martin, Software AG, IBM, Icertis, H2O.ai, Oracle NetSuite, Moovit, Accenture, NTT DATA, among others, have announced their new technology deals with their enterprise clients.
Dollar spending on technology

TCS

Digitate, a software unit of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), will supply its cognitive automation solution, ignio, to the ALDO Group, an operator of desirable footwear and accessory brands, to automate and simplify its enterprise IT operations.

Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin has won a $480 million US defense contract for air-launched rapid response weapon critical design review and test and production readiness support, the Pentagon said on Monday.

Software AG

Software AG Government Solutions signed a new OEM agreement with CGI Federal that extends their OEM relationship into 2023.

IBM

MedChain, a healthcare blockchain and decentralized applications (dApps) for electronic medical records (EMRs) company, is teaming up with IBM Business Partner Cognition Foundry to capitalize on the data protection and high performance of IBM LinuxONE, the enterprise Linux server built on mainframe technology.

Icertis

Icertis, a provider of enterprise contract management in the cloud, announced that Central City Concern, a Portland, Ore., non-profit serving people impacted by homelessness, poverty and addiction, has selected the Icertis Contract Management (ICM) platform to serve as its foundational contract management system.

H2O.ai

H2O.ai, an AI company, has partnered with Wildbook, a provider of software framework built for wildlife research and conservation projects, to use AI to accelerate the conservation of endangered elephants.

Oracle NetSuite

Selecta Biosciences, a biopharmaceutical company, selected NetSuite to manage financial, accounting, and project management processes with one unified system.

BioMonde, a bioscience company based in UK, has selected NetSuite OneWorld to respond to patients’ needs by providing a 360-degree view of financial, customer, product and order data.

Vivid Seats

Vivid Seats, a ticket marketplace in North America, will partner with the L.A. Clippers as an official ticket marketplace for the franchise beginning with the 2018-2019 season.

D-Tech International

D-Tech International said its RFID installation has helped to improve the student experience at St Anne’s College.

Comtech

Comtech Telecommunications received orders totaling $32.5 million from the US Army PM Tactical Network to provide Manpack Satellite Terminals and networking equipment.

Chrome River

Chrome River Technologies announced that ExxonMobil has selected Chrome River EXPENSE for its employee expense management solution. Chrome River deploy its cloud-based expense management solution to ExxonMobil’s 70,000 employees across all continents.

NTT DATA

NTT DATA Services has won the Alliant 2 Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) as a prime contractor by the General Services Administration (GSA).

The Alliant 2 contract vehicle, which replaces its predecessor Alliant, has a $50 billion ceiling with a five-year base period through June 30, 2023, as well as a five-year option period through June 30, 2028.

Accenture

Accenture has formed an alliance with Malong Technologies, an artificial intelligence (AI) start-up headquartered in Shenzhen, China.

Moovit

Moovit, a mobility data and analytics company, will be the official mobility app for the Asian Games (Asiad), to be held 18 August through 2 September 2018 in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia.

Juniper Networks

Juniper Networks recently said Ricoh Group has implemented  Juniper Networks’ solutions to modernize and simplify the operations of its core networking and security infrastructure in Japan.

Ricoh centralized the group’s network operations across its large branches by utilizing the QFX and EX series switches leveraging Virtual Chassis technology, cutting its infrastructure footprint by 50 percent and energy consumption by 33 percent.
