Tech deals: Salesforce, Oracle, HID Global, Visa, IBM

Salesforce announced its deal with Lyft, a rideshare company in the US, for supplying the Salesforce Pardot and Sales Cloud to identify the best prospects, convert more leads and drive customer loyalty.


Colombian fashion retailer STF Group has deployed Oracle Retail Planning and Optimization Cloud Service to support the growth of channels and operations.

HID Global

HID Global announced its deal with Skanska, a project development and construction group, to incorporate HID’s mobile solution for secure access to its new office complex in Warsaw.


TechCanary, a provider of an analytics-driven insurance solution, announced its deal with Burton and Company, to deploy TechCanary Agency Management System (TC-AMS). After a five-month implementation, the agency is in production, with additional custom work with TechCanary currently under development.


Visa announced its payment technology partnership with New York Fashion Week – The Shows enabling consumers for tapping to pay with contactless cards and devices, throughout the on-site experience at NFYW this September.

IBM announced its deal with IBM to use IBM Blockchain Platform for its global consent ledger to help enable individuals to claim property rights to their personal data.

Altamira Technologies

Altamira Technologies has won a $25 million tech contract to support the enhancement of a mission critical system for the US Intelligence Community. Altamira will provide enterprise system modernization to improve system sustainability in line with recent IC mandates and maintain the highest level of national security readiness.


Software intelligence company Dynatrace announced that information services firm Experian has selected Dynatrace’s AI-powered, software intelligence platform to enhance service excellence.

Avaya Holdings

Avaya Holdings announced that China Eastern Airlines has implemented a complete Avaya unified communication and collaboration solution to support its corporate headquarters and disperse operational locations.

Robotic Research

Robotic Research of Maryland has won a five-year tech deal worth $50 million from US Army’s Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) for Autonomous Unmanned Systems Teaming & Collaboration (AUSTC) for the Counter-WMD Mission in challenging subterranean and other environments.


Salesforce announced that Kronos, a provider of workforce management and human capital management cloud solutions, is using Salesforce to radically enhance its customer experience.
