Tech deals: IBM, Expensify, Kronos, NewStore, Savi

IBM, Robotic Research, Expensify, Kronos, NewStore, Savi, ACI Worldwide, among others, have announced their tech deals or tech deployments.

IBM

Abilis Solutions has selected IBM to expand capabilities to address offender information management challenges in corrections agencies. Montreal-based Abilis, known for its CORIS Offender Management System (OMS), will use IBM public safety experts to increase its delivery and support capacity.

Robotic Research

Robotic Research of Maryland has won a $9 million contract from the US Army’s Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) for the Counter-WMD and other Missions in challenging subterranean and other environments. This contract is in addition to a recent award of a five-year $49.9 million contract on AUSTC.

Expensify

Expensify, an expense management solution of 35 percent of the top 100 U.S. accounting firms, announced its deal with CLA to serve the receipt tracking and expense reporting needs of their clients. CLA will recommend Expensify’s time-saving expense report automation to clients from industries such as real estate, construction, healthcare, higher education, and non-profit.

Kronos

MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions, a mechanical contractor, has selected Workforce Dimensions, a cloud solution from Kronos, to support organizational growth and augment digital transformation initiatives.

NewStore

NewStore announced that UNTUCKit is the latest customer to use its retail experience. NewStore will assist UNTUCK for optimizing its growing business through omnichannel capabilities.

ACI Worldwide

ACI Worldwide announced the transition of Utkarsh Small Finance Bank (USFB) to the latest version of its UP Retail Payments solution, completing a technological transformation.

Savi

Savi, a big data / machine learning analytic solutions provider, has received orders from two major US defense agencies for RFID tags. The combined orders of more than 48,000 active RFID tags will join over one million Savi active RFID tags currently deployed by the DoD and international militaries around the world.

Savi is currently the sole provider for the DoD RFID-IV contract, which has a $102 million ceiling and is in its second and final option year.

Pratt & Whitney

Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies, announced its deal with Aegean Airlines to supply Pratt & Whitney GTF engine to power up to 62 Airbus A320neo family aircraft: 30 firm, 12 option, and up to 20 leased aircraft.

United Bus Technology

United Bus Technology (UBT), a IT solution provider for the motorcoach industry, announced its deal with Martz Group, a transportation provider in the East, to supply their motorcoaches with UBT products.

ServiceLink

ServiceLink announced its tech deal with Select Portfolio Servicing, a mortgage servicer headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. SPS has selected ServiceLink’s EXOS Servicing platform as its consumer digital strategy.
