Tech deals: Salesforce, cStor, FairCom, Raytheon

cStor, FairCom, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Salesforce, among others, have announced their latest technology deals.
US dollar

cStor

cStor, a provider of data center, cloud and cybersecurity solutions, announced its tech deal with Delta Dental of Arizona for their cybersecurity plan to add new protection measures to their critical patient and corporate data.

FairCom

FairCom, a database technology company, has won tech contract from Verizon. In addition to Verizon, more than 40 members of the Fortune 100 have used the c-treeACE products for their database needs.

Raytheon

Raytheon has bagged a more than $1.5 billion contract from the U.S. Army for production of Poland’s Patriot Integrated Air and Missile Defense System including spare parts, support and training. Raytheon will build and deliver four Patriot fire units for Poland.

Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin has won two Foreign Military Sale (FMS) orders for Bahrain and Taiwan for its Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod (ATP). Lockheed Martin signed 19 pod delivery order for the F-16 Block 70 platform to the Royal Bahraini Air Force. Taiwan placed the FMS order for 18 pods for implementing on the mid-life upgraded (MLU) F-16 platform.

Salesforce

Salesforce, a CRM company, announced its tech deal with Lamborghini, a manufacturer of sports cars and Super SUVs, for using Salesforce to improve customer experience.

Salesforce announced its tech deal with luxury fashion brand Diane von Furstenberg (DVF) to build DVF 360, an engaging 3D shopping experience powered by Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

Oracle

Oracle is assisting Cleveland Clinic in improving healthcare delivery and reducing costs through an efficient process and workflow. The cloud-based healthcare platform is expected to roll out at Cleveland Clinic London in 2019 and expand to Cleveland Clinic’s domestic locations in 2020.

Snapsheet

Atlas Financial Holdings, a commercial auto insurance provider, has selected Snapsheet, a provider of virtual claims technology for the personal and commercial insurance marketplace, to implement Snapsheet Transactions to facilitate a digital early settlement process for bodily injury claims.

Harris

Lockheed Martin has selected Harris Corporation to develop and deliver the next generation Integrated Core Processor (ICP) for the F-35 fighter jet. The Lockheed Martin-led competition within the F-35 supply chain will significantly reduce cost and enhance capability.

IBM

Banco Inter, a leading financial institution in Brazil, is working with IBM Services to migrate its workplace platform to Apple MacOS. Banco Inter has purchased 1,000 Macs and collaborated with IBM Services to help the financial institution in upgrading software, managing multiple devices, and integrating the business applications into the Apple environment without any business disruption.

Riverbed

Riverbed Technology announced its tech deal with n11.com, Turkey’s largest e-commerce platform, for supplying Riverbed’s digital experience management solution SteelCentral to eliminate blind spots in its network and application operations, and manage and monitor the digital experience of users.
