Tech deals: Cognizant, NICE inContact, SAP, PayPal

Earthport, Cognizant, NICE inContact, Janam Technologies, SAP, Casepoint, Boomerang Commerce, Nrby, PayPal, among others, have announced their tech deals or technology deployments for their business customers.

Earthport

Earthport, a global payments company, announced its tech deal with BNP Paribas to provide Automated Clearing House (ACH) cross-border payment services. BNP Paribas Fortis, a subsidiary of BNP Paribas, and Belgium’s largest bank with annual revenues of €43 billion will be the first to deploy these services.

Cognizant

IT services provider Cognizant announced the implementation of a supply chain transformation program for FMCG company Amway India. Cognizant completed the technology consolidation and modernization of 28 of Amway’s warehouses in India, in eight months.

NICE inContact

BPO major announced a partnership with NICE inContact. The combination of Sitel Group’s CX expertise and NICE inContact CXone cloud customer experience platform delivers an efficient and scalable customer engagement solution.

Janam Technologies

Janam Technologies, a provider of rugged mobile computers that scan barcodes and communicate wirelessly, announced its tech deal with American Nutrition, a manufacturer of pet food and treats for branded companies and retailers, for supplying XG3-ER gun-shaped, rugged mobile computers to improve operations across its three facilities.

SAP

Business software major SAP announced that Colombina, AVL List, Deutsche Telekom and MEWA Textil-Service Management OHG have selected the SAP C/4HANA to drive digital transformation and deliver engaging customer experiences.

Casepoint

Casepoint, a eDiscovery technology provider, announced its tech deal with Robbins, Russell, Englert, Orseck, Untereiner & Sauber (Robbins Russell), a Washington DC-based litigation law firm, to provide cloud-based solution for the firm’s eDiscovery and data management needs.

Boomerang Commerce

Boomerang Commerce, the machine-learning technology company, announced its tech deal with Goodbaby, a parenting products company, to supply CommerceIQ, the industry’s first platform for consumer brand manufacturers to maximize e-commerce growth.

Nrby

Nrby, a provider of location-based awareness and productivity, announced its tech deal with Eagle Communications to use Nrby platform to accelerate and enhance plant operations.

PayPal

Walmart and PayPal announced their partnership to provide financial services and products that help their shared customers.

The two companies will begin rolling out PayPal cash in and cash out money services at Walmart for a fee of $3 per service. This is the first time PayPal mobile app users will be able to take cash out of their PayPal account in a brick-and-mortar environment, in addition to being able to load cash into their PayPal balance at Walmart stores.

Incapsulate

Incapsulate announced that Dallas, Texas will modernize 311 operations with Incapsulate’s 311 Capsule, a digital engagement and workflow solution for municipal use. The Dallas 311 Capsule solution will handle over 1 million service requests annually, ranging from bulk trash pickups to animal control issues.

Seceon

Seceon, a cyber threat detection and remediation solution, announced the deployment of its Seceon Open Threat Management (OTM) Platform in a new security operations center (SOC) offering from NTT Communications Solutions in Japan.
