Tech deals: Accenture, Deloitte, IBM, Digital Matrix Systems, Pratt & Whitney, Snowflake Computing, Locus Robotics, Extreme Networks, Blume Global, Aruba, among others, have announced their tech deals or technology deployments.
Accenture
Accenture announced its tech deal with Pierre Fabre, a French beauty care company, to build an intelligent information technology (IT) platform to support and improve the performance. Accenture will build the integrated platform, replacing several disparate IT systems, on SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba.
Digital Matrix Systems
Digital Matrix Systems announced its tech deal with OnDeck, online small business lender in the United States, to deploy the company’s Data Access Point solution to pull data. OnDeck will use Data Access Point as the connectivity engine that provides critical data in support of their lending decision process.
Deloitte
Deloitte has won contracts from four US states recently to help their agencies implement a systems integration solution for their modular Medicaid enterprise systems.
Pratt & Whitney
Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies, announced its tech services deal with Philippine Airlines. The 12-year EngineWise Comprehensive service agreement will cover Philippine Airlines’ fleet of 15 firm Airbus A321neo aircraft powered by Pratt & Whitney GTF engines.
Snowflake Computing
Snowflake Computing announced its tech deal with VICE Media to power its business in a multitude of ways. The results of switching to Snowflake include a first-year savings of more than $500,000.
Locus Robotics
Locus Robotics announced a tech deal with Radial to increase warehouse efficiency and improve workplace quality.
IBM
IBM and H2O.ai announced that Vision Banco has deployed H2O Driverless AI, H2O.ai’s automatic machine learning platform, on the IBM Power Systems AC922 server. Vision Banco, based in Asuncion, Paraguay, provides financial services to small and micro-sized companies in Paraguay.
Fortanix
Fortanix announced that ELASTX has deployed its Self-Defending Key Management Service (SDKMS) to protect customers’ data as they migrate to the cloud.
Extreme Networks
Extreme Networks said that New York Jets and the New York Giants have deployed Smart OmniEdge networking solutions at their joint stadium, MetLife Stadium, and at their individual practice facilities.

BNSF Logistics has selected Blume Global as its digital supply chain platform. Blume Global’s digital supply chain solutions will assist BNSF Logistics in optimizing the intermodal transport services to customers.
Aruba
Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, announced that The Bama Companies, a producer of baked goods for the quick service restaurant and C-store industry in the U.S. and 20 countries, is using Aruba’s wireless, switching and security solutions.

JetSmart has signed an eight-year service agreement with IAE International Aero Engines AG to maintain its fleet of V2500-powered A320ceos.
