Tech deals: Accenture, Siemens, Serco, Tresata

Accenture, Siemens Government Technologies, OnBase, Serco, Azure Summit Technology, Tresata, IDEMIA, among others, have announced their latest tech deals or technology deployments.

Accenture

Accenture announced its alliance with Zafin, a financial services software company based in Canada to serve as a preferred integrator of the Zafin financial software platform as part of a joint go-to-market strategy. Select employees from Zafin’s professional services business will join Accenture’s global Financial Services practice.

Siemens Government Technologies

Siemens Government Technologies has won a $555 million contract from U.S. Department of Energy (DoE) for energy efficiency and resiliency improvements at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).

OnBase

Wellesley College has selected OnBase – an enterprise information platform for managing content, processes and cases – to support the transition to paperless administrative processes, provide a central repository for content and documents, and connect critical ERP systems. Wellesley will also configure OnBase to manage workflows across campus in the future.

Azure Summit Technology

Azure Summit Technology, provider of RF electronics hardware, firmware, and software products for the Department of Defense, has won a $48.5 million contract from the US Navy to support the AN/ZLQ-1 V2 Common Chassis for the Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA), Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems (PMUAS), and Submarine Sensor Systems Programs.

Serco

Serco has won a tech order worth $46 million to supply IT Network systems in hardened shipboard racks to the Department of the Navy.

Tresata

HSBC’s Global Banking and Markets division has selected Tresata to automate the creation and consumption of data and actionable intelligence to improve operational management and critical decision making.

IDEMIA

IDEMIA has delivered e-ID cards to Nepal Government ensuring improvement in access to government services as well as to social security benefits. The cards will be delivered to all citizens over the age of 16, in a process expected to take approximately five years.

CleverTap

Cleartrip, an online travel aggregator in India and the Middle East, is using CleverTap’s enterprise customer data platform to measure the impact of its engagement strategies.

DXC Technology

DXC Technology announced its deal with the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) to transform its enterprise asset management capabilities and support its digital transformation. DXC will deploy an enterprise asset management (EAM) solution to track and optimize maintenance activities of MTA assets and infrastructure for its 236 miles of routes.

Zingbox

Zingbox, a provider of the healthcare Internet of Things (IoT) analytics platform, announced that University of Iowa Health Care has deployed Zingbox’s IoT Guardian to protect and monitor their network of 45,000 connected medical devices.

Ascom

Ascom, a solutions provider focused on healthcare ICT and mobile workflows, announced that Newport Hospital, part of Lifespan health care system in Rhode Island, has selected an Ascom mobility communications solution to enable delivery of nurse call alerts directly to clinician mobile devices.
