Origin AI Secures $15.9 mn in VC Funding Round Led by Verisure

Origin AI, a start-up in WiFi Sensing technology, announced the closure of its latest Series B extension round, securing $15.9 million.
VC funding for techVerisure, positioned as the lead investor, has played a pivotal role in providing substantial capital to fuel Origin’s growth trajectory, expand its product portfolio, and fortify customer support initiatives.

This VC Funding round attracted enthusiastic participation from prominent new investors like Verisure and Okinawa Electric Power Company, alongside follow-on investments from Verizon Ventures and INSPiRE.

Spencer Maid, CEO of Origin AI, emphasized the significance of this funding in advancing the company’s mission. “This funding empowers us to advance our mission of providing reliable, efficient, and innovative WiFi Sensing solutions to customers worldwide, while also expanding our product range and growing our customer base,” Spencer Maid said.

The freshly secured capital is strategically earmarked to diversify Origin’s product offerings and scale up its commercial endeavors, thereby enabling the company to provide enhanced solutions to a broader customer demographic.
