Nylas, a provider of communications APIs for developers, has raised $25 million in Series B funding — led by 8VC and Round13 Capital.
Existing investors such as Spark Capital, ScaleUP, and Slack Fund and new investors Citi Ventures has also joined the round.
Nylas provides an API platform that enables developers to access and process user data from any email, calendar, and contacts provider in the world. Nylas’ solution saves customers an average of 16 months and $2 million in up-front development costs by allowing developers to efficiently integrate communications data into their applications in days.
Nylas has over 450 customers globally — including companies such as Comcast, Hyundai, Realtor.com, Dialpad, Freshworks, Pipedrive, Qualia, and Clio. Over 40,000 software developers around the world use Nylas to serve over 1.2B API calls and sync 15TB of data daily.
Nylas plans to allocate the funding to scale sales and marketing activities while accelerating product innovation.
