Mews, a software developer, has raised $110 million in its latest VC funding round. The financing was led by prominent investors including Kinnevik and Goldman Sachs Group, valuing the company at an impressive $1.2 billion.
Among the other key investors participating in this funding round were Revaia, Notion Capital, and LGVP. Mews, known for its operations in over 85 countries, intends to utilize the funds primarily for global expansion initiatives, further product development, and strategic acquisitions, according to statements released by the company.
The funding round underscores Mews’ robust financial performance, with the company reporting over $8 billion in gross payments volume. Furthermore, its annualized net revenue has experienced a substantial 60 percent surge, reaching $100 million compared to the previous year.
Established in 2012 by former hoteliers Richard Valtr and Matthijs Welle, Mews is headquartered in Prague. This latest VC funding milestone follows the company’s successful Series C funding round in December 2022, where it raised a total of $185 million.
