Civica Acquires OLM Systems

Civica has acquired OLM Systems, a provider of cloud-native social care management solutions, to strengthen its GovTech capabilities. The acquisition expands Civica’s portfolio, complementing existing solutions across revenues and benefits, housing, financial and income management, legal casework, regulatory services, and more. The addition of OLM’s social care software, particularly the ECLIPSE platform, provides Civica with unmatched depth and breadth of capability across all key council functions, supporting a more integrated approach to service delivery.

Xplor Technologies Acquires Majority Stake in Clubessential

Advent International-backed Xplor Technologies has acquired a majority stake in Clubessential from Battery Ventures. This strategic merger aims to create a global platform for software and payments, serving over 130,000 customers across sectors like fitness, golf, parks, and home services. The combined entity will process $47 billion in annual payments and generate nearly $900 million in revenue. The deal enhances Xplor’s position in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) and payments sectors, leveraging Clubessential’s expertise in private club management software. The transaction is expected to close by year-end, pending regulatory approval.

GreenSlate Acquires Circus Technologies

GreenSlate, a provider of payroll and production accounting solutions for the entertainment industry, has acquired Circus Technologies. This acquisition expands GreenSlate’s global reach and enhances its production management workflows. Circus Technologies offers advanced tools for managing complex production processes, aligning with GreenSlate’s mission to streamline production accounting and payroll. The integration aims to provide a more comprehensive solution for the entertainment industry, improving efficiency and reducing administrative overhead.

Hack The Box Acquires LetsDefend

Hack The Box, a leader in gamified cybersecurity skills development, has acquired LetsDefend, a cybersecurity training software company. This acquisition strengthens Hack The Box’s enterprise, AI, and blue team cybersecurity upskilling ecosystem. The combined platform will offer hands-on labs, real-world simulations, and cross-role skill development to empower enterprises, governments, managed security service providers (MSSPs), and academic institutions. The goal is to continuously benchmark, upskill, and certify the cyber workforce, driving more predictable security outcomes and reducing risk.
