WTW Acquires Newfront
Willis Towers Watson (WTW) agreed to acquire Newfront in a deal valued at up to USD 1.3 billion, including USD 1.05 billion upfront and contingent payouts tied to performance. The acquisition expands WTW’s footprint in the U.S. middle-market and high-growth sectors such as technology, fintech, and life sciences, while accelerating its digital strategy through Newfront’s modern insurance platform and agentic AI tools. Integrating Newfront’s technology and producer base into WTW’s Risk and Broking and Health, Wealth and Career segments is expected to enhance efficiency, drive cross-sell opportunities, and improve client experience.
Cadent Acquires VuePlanner
Novacap-backed Cadent acquired VuePlanner to broaden its omnichannel advertising platform with YouTube video ad planning, optimization, and measurement capabilities. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition positions Cadent to unify video planning and activation across linear, CTV, digital video, and YouTube, leveraging VuePlanner’s AI analytics and YouTube Measurement Program certification. This strengthens Cadent’s predictive advertising and cross-screen performance capabilities.
Sysdyne Acquires Slabstack
Sysdyne Technologies acquired Slabstack to integrate intelligent pricing, CRM, and AI-driven commercial insights into its cloud-native platform. Terms were not disclosed. The acquisition supports Sysdyne’s strategy to unify commercial decisions with real-time production and delivery workflows across construction materials. Merging Slabstack’s pricing engine with Sysdyne’s operational tools enhances customer engagement, dynamic pricing, and real-time intelligence for ready mix, aggregates, and asphalt markets.
Spotler Acquires Webpower Adria
Spotler, backed by CNBB Equity Partners, acquired Croatian email marketing company Webpower Adria to strengthen its presence in Southeast Europe. The deal expands Spotler’s email automation and regional market expertise. Although terms were not disclosed, the acquisition enhances Spotler’s martech ecosystem with localized capabilities and AI-enabled marketing solutions across Europe.
Onit Acquires LawBase
Onit acquired LawBase, a long-standing case and matter management platform, strengthening its legal operations portfolio. Terms were not disclosed. The acquisition expands Onit’s presence in the public sector by combining LawBase’s trusted capabilities with Onit’s AI-native workflow and enterprise legal management solutions. The integration provides broader functionality and continuity for existing LawBase users.
