Ooma Acquires FluentStream

Ooma Inc. has acquired FluentStream for $45 million to strengthen its presence in the cloud-based unified communications market. The deal brings 5,000 customers and 80,000 users, expanding Ooma’s reach from microbusinesses to upper-SMB clients. FluentStream’s managed service provider (MSP) network fills a key gap in Ooma’s partner ecosystem, allowing a more scalable, partner-led go-to-market strategy.
