Cybersecurity firm Armis announced the closure of a $200 million Series D funding round, bringing its valuation to $4.2 billion. The round was co-led by General Catalyst and Alkeon Capital, with existing investors Brookfield Technology Partners and Georgian.
The new funding will support Armis in scaling its product innovation and global expansion efforts as part of its five-year plan to become a leading, multi-generational cybersecurity company. Armis also aims to accelerate its inorganic growth strategy, potentially targeting acquisitions to expand its market reach.
The firm, having recently surpassed $200 million in Annual Recurring Revenue, sets sights on reaching $500 million ARR on its way to a billion-dollar milestone, with a long-term goal of an IPO.
Sierra Secures $175 mn
AI software startup Sierra, co-founded by former Salesforce co-CEO Bret Taylor, has achieved a $4.5 billion valuation following a fresh $175 million funding round led by Greenoaks Capital. The round also saw participation from Thrive Capital, Iconiq, and previous investors Sequoia Capital and Benchmark.
Sierra aims to leverage the funding to enhance its product portfolio and expand its market presence. Sierra’s high valuation reflects the company’s potential to shape the AI landscape, underscoring investor confidence in both the founding team and the market’s appetite for transformative AI technology.
RiPSIM Raises $5 mn
RiPSIM Technologies has raised $5 million in a Seed Series funding round led by Ten Eleven Ventures, a cybersecurity-focused investment firm.
This funding will expand the company’s eSIM-as-a-Service platform, allowing network operators to secure control over credentialing, streamlining subscriber authentication, and expanding growth avenues.
Brightwave Closes $15 mn
Brightwave has raised $15 million in Series A funding led by Decibel Partners, with participation from OMERS Ventures, bringing total funding to $21 million.
Brightwave’s AI-powered platform has seen 4x revenue growth since its seed funding. This funding will enable the company to recruit top engineers and commercial talent, improve its knowledge graph, and enhance AI-driven reasoning capabilities, strengthening Brightwave’s impact on financial research.
INBRAIN Neuroelectronics Secures $50 mn
INBRAIN Neuroelectronics has closed a $50 million Series B round, led by imec.xpand and new investors EIC Fund, Fond ICO Next Tech, CDTI-Innvierte and Avançsa. Existing investors Asabys Partners, Aliath Bioventures and Vsquared also participated, bringing the total amount raised since inception to $68 million.
INBRAIN is advancing a graphene-based brain-computer interface that decodes and modulates neural activity, aiming to treat neurological diseases. This funding will support ongoing clinical trials and a collaboration with imec to prepare the technology for commercial scaling.
