Digital Colony buys Boingo Wireless for $854 mn

Digital Colony has completed the acquisition of Boingo Wireless, a distributed antenna system (DAS) and Wi-Fi provider that serves carriers, consumers, property owners and advertisers, for $854 million.
Dollar spending on technologyDigital Colony manages a $32 billion portfolio of digital infrastructure assets. Digital Colony, a subsidiary of Colony Capital, is headquartered in Boca Raton with offices in New York, Los Angeles, London and Singapore, and has over 90 investment and operating professionals.
