The VC funding round was led by venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins, late-stage tech investor Meritech Capital, and Huntress’ existing backer Sapphire Ventures.

With the new funding, Huntress plans to escalate its efforts against cybercriminals by rapidly expanding the range of products on its platform. “We raised capital to escalate the arms race against cybercriminals,” Hanslovan stated, emphasizing the company’s commitment to bolstering its cybersecurity offerings.

Founded in 2015, Huntress has already garnered over 100,000 customers and sees significant growth potential ahead. “We have only scratched the surface in terms of the opportunity,” said Kleiner Perkins partner Everett Randle.
